Description

Air quality data (and meteorological data) collected at continuous ambient air monitoring stations must be submitted electronically in real-time to the Government of Alberta as per the Air Monitoring Directive. This guide sets out the methods and technical specifications for transmitting that data, as well as required and optional parameters, the units in which each parameter must be transmitted, file formatting, server connectivity, and timing requirements. The Air Monitoring Directive, Chapter 9 Reporting prescribes who is required to submit real-time ambient air monitoring data and the criteria for which parameters are required to be submitted.
