This report contains the findings and recommendations of the environmental scan conducted to review policies, programs, and support services related to accommodating learners with disabilities in post-secondary education in Alberta. The environmental scan address three main questions: what current legislation and/or policy documents describe best practices in accommodating learners with disabilities in post-secondary settings; what services are provided to learners with disabilities in post-secondary settings in Alberta and other jurisdictions; and why is the number of learners with disabilities increasing?
