Environmental assessment registry documents pertaining to the proposed Sasol Canada Holdings Ltd. Canada GTL (CGTL) Project. The proposal involves a Gas To Liquid Facility (GTL) that will convert natural gas to GTL liquid products, with a production capacity of 96,000 barrels per day, of GTL diesel, GTL naptha and liquefied petroleum gas. Proposal to process approximately 36,500 barrels of condensate and pyrolysis gasoline per day to produce gasoline, diesel, benzene, hydrogen and improved condensate. Facility location is in Strathcona County, approximately 3 kilometers west of Sherwood Park, Alberta. The project was withdrawn from the regulatory review process in 2008.
