Le pilier de responsabilisation comprend un ensemble de mesures de rendement communes et des évaluations systématiques et justes des résultats. Grâce au pilier de responsabilisation, on met davantage l’accent sur l’atteinte des résultats, sur la communication des résultats, de même que sur l’utilisation des résultats afin de prendre des décisions réfléchies pour améliorer les programmes et le rendement des élèves au cours des années à venir. Le rendement des autorités scolaires fait l’objet de mesures, d’évaluations et de rapports.
