Every two years graduates of apprenticeship programs and first period apprentices are surveyed regarding their satisfaction with their apprenticeship program and their labour market experiences. Satisfaction with various aspects of the program such as on-the job learning, classroom instruction and interaction with Client Services staff are included as well as employment status, earnings and relatedness of employment to their apprenticeship program.

The final report from the Research Commercialization Working Group (RCWG) was developed by experts from academia and industry, together with government. The RCWG’s mandate was to deliver on Goal 3 of Alberta 2030: Support Innovation and Commercialization, and provide input to the Alberta Technology and Innovation Strategy. Recommended action items within the report include: coordinating government funding on RCWG priority research sectors; developing an intellectual property (IP) framework that aligns IP policies, raises awareness of IP, and creates collaboration/hand-off opportunities to industry; and convening ecosystem players regularly and often to enhance research partnership potential. This report presents the findings of the survey of 2019/2020 academic year graduates from credit parchment programs from publicly-funded post-secondary institutions, excluding the Banff Centre.
