This Ministerial Order establishes the 2020 Northern Alberta Floods Disaster Recovery Program in response to the extraordinary losses and damages and emergency response costs that have resulted from overland flooding and groundwater seepage in communities in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and Mackenzie County that were triggered by ice jams and rapid spring melting from April 22, 2020 to May 04, 2020.
