The proposal is for steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) technology with an ultimate bitumen production capacity of 250,000 barrels per day (bpd). The location is approximately 95 kilometers northwest of Fort McMurray, Alberta. The EIA was deemed complete in 2012. The proposal is for construction of a run-of-river hyro plant including headworks (powerhouse and weir), headpond and power line with a maximum gererating capacity of 100 MW, located 2 km upstream of the Dunvegan highway bridge, near Fairview, Alberta.
