It provides the number of inter-jurisdictional employees incoming to Alberta from different provinces and territories. Inter-jurisdictional employees are individuals who found employment in Alberta but maintained their primary residence in another part of the country.

The Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) Annex is an addition to the Agreement for Canada-Alberta Cooperation on Immigration. The Annex includes an agreement to implement a number of pilots. One of the pilots allows Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to issue an occupation-specific work permit to TFWs working in Alberta in one of the following specific occupations: steamfitter-pipefitter, estimator, welder, heavy-duty equipment mechanic, ironworker, millwright and industrial mechanic, and carpenter.

This document lists the 66 occupations selected for review in the 2012 U.S. Labour Supply Study.

The Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) Annex is an addition to the Agreement for Canada-Alberta Cooperation on Immigration. The Annex includes an agreement to implement a number of pilots. One of the pilots allows Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to issue an occupation-specific work permit to TFWs working in Alberta in the steamfitter-pipefitter trade. Six new occupations have been added to the pilot: carpenter, estimator, heavy-duty equipment mechanic, ironworker, millwright and industrial mechanic, and welder.
