In March and April 2016, Alberta Agriculture and Forestry sought public and stakeholder input on proposed amendments to the Forest and Prairie Protection Act and associated regulations. The amendments would update the fine levels and structure to align with other similar provincial legislation, and clarify wording to better reflect and support current operational practices in the field. A survey was distributed to key stakeholders, while the general public was notified of the survey through public consultation websites. This report summarizes the input received through completed survey submissions.
