The purpose of the survey is to find out about the recreation activities of Albertans and what influences their recreation choices. The survey generally covers the following topics: recreation activities, favourite activities, desired activities, reasons for participation or for not participating, perceived benefits of recreation, volunteer involvement, and recreational trends over time.
