Description

This report describes the soils of the Whitecourt and Barrhead areas in central Alberta including the cultural and physical features of the area, the morphological and chemical characteristics of the soil series, and certain land use aspects. The soil map shows the location and extent of the different soil areas and indicates the main topographical features. The soil rating map shows a suggested productivity grouping based on a rating of the soils.
