Description
This document outlines the ground rules which apply to the Slave Lake Region, including areas outlined in Forest Management Agreements 0600043, 9700036, 0200039, 9700033 and 9000028, as well as to Forestry Management Units S10, S16, and SO2. Ground rules are the practices used in planning and conducting timber harvesting operations. They constitute the methods used to implement decisions made in forest management plans and other higher-level plans such as integrated resource plans. Ground rules establish practices that minimize the chance of negative effects from timber harvesting and forest management operations and activities.
