The Standard for administering the Mine Financial Security Program, which aims to provide a responsible balance between protecting the people of Alberta from the costs associated with the liability of coal and oil sands development in the event an approval holder cannot meet their obligations, and maximizing the opportunities for responsible and sustainable resource development.

Monthly notice of the general rate of timber dues for timber that is used to make lumber, pulp or roundwood products, including the portion of dues collected by the Forest Resource Improvement Association of Alberta. Timber dues and other fees associated with timber dispositions are collected by the province to ensure that Albertans receive fair compensation for the use of publicly-owned forest resources. The timber dues rates applied are based on current market and financial conditions are can be found in Table 1 of the Timber Dues Ministerial Order. NOTE: previously issued under the title General Rates of Timber.

Monthly notice of the general rate of timber dues for timber that is used to make laminated veneer lumber. Description

Contains materials to assist applicants to the Emerging Resources Program. The program is designed to encourage industry to open up new oil and gas resources in higher-risk and higher-cost areas that have large resource potential. Wells that receive program benefits will pay a flat royalty rate of five per cent until their combined revenue equals their combined program specific cost allowances. After that, wells will be subject to normal royalty rates under the Modernized Royalty Framework.

This addendum outlines Forest Management Plan-specific ground rules which apply to area outlined in Forest Management Agreements 0100038 and 2100047 and forest management units C04, C02, C01, B01, B02 and B12. These rules are in addition to the Alberta Timber Harvest Planning and Operating Ground Rules. Where a rule in this addendum and a rule in the provincial OGR relate to the same subject matter or objective, the rule in the addendum governs. FMP-specific addendums are supplemental to the OGRs and will be negotiated with the applicable FMA holder where additional ground rules are needed to address specific strategies in an FMP or unique physical or non-physical landscape attributes.
