These classification systems are used in the planning and design of provincial highways, and in the permitting of access to and development adjacent to provincial highways. This record contains a provincial-level map of the roads classified under this system, as well as finer-detailed maps for each transportation district.

Description

In July 2017 federal, provincial and territorial ministers of agriculture, endorsed the Canadian Agricultural Partnership. Consultation and engagement sessions were held in winter 2018 to obtain feedback on what the suite of the Partnership-funded programs in Alberta should look like. Consultation during this period included three facilitated sessions in Edmonton, Lethbridge and Grande Prairie with representatives of industry organizations. As well, an online survey was made available to all agriculture stakeholders to get a more broad scope of opinions.

It also contains a brief discussion of the climate and agricultural development of the area together with the important farm crops and transportation facilities.
