The plan centres Indigenous voices, avoiding tokenistic practices, and adopting trauma-informed, person-centered perspectives and acknowledges the diverse health needs within Indigenous communities. It is committed to increasing life expectancy and overall health, involving community input and respecting cultural protocols while prioritizing culturally safe and holistic healthcare, honoring Indigenous expertise and traditions. Designed as a living document that will be updated to reflect evolving Indigenous health and Alberta's healthcare system.

Effective the beginning of day on April 1, 2024, Alberta’s fuel tax rate is increasing from $0.09 per litre to $0.13 per litre. The rate increase applies to clear gasoline and diesel, ethanol, ethanol blended gasoline, biodiesel, blended diesel, methanol and condensate used to generate power in an internal combustion or turbine engine. The effective rate of fuel tax applicable to marked gasoline and diesel, after applying the tax-exempt consumer exemption, will be $0.04 per litre.

Indigenous traditional use sites are one of the types of historic resources that the ministry records and protects through its regulatory operations. This information bulletin explains how the ministry works with Indigenous communities to gather information on traditional use sites, and how these sites are integrated into the Listing of Historic Resources in such a way as to protect them during proposed developments while also protecting the confidential nature of the sites.

The data tables presented are related to enrolments in approved programs at publicly-funded post-secondary institutions within Alberta. Separate data files exist focusing on the system level, or for subsets that focus on either international or self-identified Indigenous learners.

The set of statistics in these datasets describe the Full Load Equivalent (FLE) by each institution and academic year within Alberta's publicly funded post-secondary education system. FLE is a measure used to allow for comparable calculations across different institutions, across different programs. The FLE is measured by taking the load of the learner enrolled (instructional hours + practicum hours) and dividing by the full load of that program. This results in a comparable metric to be able to use across the system. The FLE calculation is consistent for every institution and program. The data tables presented are related to enrolments in approved programs at publicly funded post-secondary institutions within Alberta. Separate data files exist focusing on the system level, or for subsets that focus on either international or self-identified Indigenous learners.
