The Critical Worker Benefit is intended to recognize the service of select workers identified as critical for the delivery of basic services to Albertans in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The following guidelines apply to employers in eligible private for-profit and not-for-profit health care settings. All eligible employers will be required to apply for the Critical Worker Benefit using the Health Care COVID-19 Funding for Critical Workers and Operators Application portal.
