Description

Two Ministerial Orders (MO) for Public Lands Fees, Rents and Other Amounts Payable were recently signed to update the fees for the Grazing Rental Rates Framework (MO 05/2024) and the Commercial Trail Riding (CTR) permits (MO 61/2023). Currently two MOs exist with different and conflicting information (one with the CTR change but old grazing rental rate, and one with the new rental rates but old CTR rates); neither order reflects the change made in the other order. MO 09/2024 incorporates the previously approved Grazing Rental Rates Framework and the Commercial Trail Riding permit fee changes.

The proposal is to construct and operate an aerial passenger ropeway system along with a day lodge, trail networks, viewing platforms, suspension bridge and associated utility services infrastructure as part of the Silvertip Integrated Village Resort. The proposed passenger aerial gondola would connect the base area of the Silvertip Resort to an upper terminal on the summit ridge of Mount Lady MacDonald, via a mid-station integrated with the Silvertip Resort Village.
