Description

The Borrowing Regulation sets out the requirements for school boards seeking to borrow to meet capital expenditures for school building retrofits, for assets that are not school buildings, or for expenditures that qualify under the Infrastructure Maintenance and Renewal Program. The scope of the Regulation includes restrictions on borrowing, short-term and debenture borrowing, issuing of debentures, authority for borrowing and the voiding of borrowing agreements.
