Description

The purpose of this guide is to support local Family and Community Support Services program staff in working with outcome measurement. FCSS is a funding partnership between the Government of Alberta and participating municipalities or Métis Settlements. Under FCSS, communities design and deliver social programs that are preventive in nature to promote and enhance well-being among individuals, families, and communities. Reporting on outcomes is mandatory for local FCSS programs.

The FCSS outcomes model is intended to guide and inform local Family and Community Support Services programs. It is based on the program logic model used in outcome measurement training, and provides a framework within which local FCSS programs can choose and then effectively measure the impact of programs and services on the social wellbeing of individuals, families and communities.
