Description

This study delineates flood hazard areas and determines design flood levels along Wolf Creek and an unnamed tributary through Lacombe. The study area includes an almost 9 km reach of Wolf Creek and approximate 2 km of tributary stream length. The design discharge for Wolf Creek is 36.4 m³/s downstream of Highway 2, 40.1 m³/s upstream Highway 2 and at Highway 2A and 29.7 m³/s upstream of Highway 12. The design discharge of the tributary is 13.3 m³/s. The study was prepared in June 1996. Flood information available after study completion may not be reflected in the current flood hazard study report or flood hazard mapping.
