The Continuing Care Health Service Standards (CCHSS) identify standards for the provision of quality continuing care health services that take into consideration the individual needs, preferences and abilities of each client. The CCHSS represent a legislated requirement and set the minimum requirement that operators in the continuing care system must comply with in the provision of health care.

The standards are divided into two parts: A. Putting Individuals First: Providing Quality Continuing Care Health Services. B. Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance.
