This regulation prescribes members for the Provincial Police Advisory Board and sets out requirements for members of policing committees, including the members that may be appointed by the Minister. The regulation also sets out reporting requirements for police commissions regarding reporting membership changes to the Minister.

The following STANDATA were issued under the National Building Code–2023 Alberta edition. STANDATA, which include province-wide variances and interpretations, are specific to the version of the Code that they were issued under. Once a new Code comes into effect, all existing STANDATA are deemed to be obsolete and cannot be used for new construction. They are, however, still valid for evaluating code compliance of existing structures by fire services, insurance companies and by building inspectors in consideration of renovations and retrofits.

The following STANDATA were issued under the National Building Code–2023 Alberta edition. This regulation deals with the duties and functions of the Provincial Police Advisory Board and municipal and regional policing committees. It defines a Metis community for the purposes of membership in the Provincial Police Advisory Board and defines regional governance zones for the purposes of regional policing committees. The regulation also sets limits on the number of appointees for municipal police commissions and provides a transitional clause to allow time for commissions to reduce the size of the commission to the prescribed number.
