This study delineates the flood hazard areas and determines design flood levels along an approximate 6 km reach of the Rosebud River through Didsbury. The design discharge for the Rosebud River is 43.0 m³/s. The study was prepared in February 2006. Flood information available after study completion may not be reflected in the current flood hazard study report or flood hazard mapping.

Released in February 2006, Alberta's Health Policy Framework itemized ten new policy directions for sustainable, flexible and accessible health services for Albertans. The framework was created to guide government and health care partners in making positive, innovative changes to the public health care system that work for Albertans and Alberta's health care providers. Albertans were invited to provide feedback on the framework, and the framework was revised in August 2006 based on this feedback.

Description

This report is one of four state of the basin reports. Each report gives specific information to provide a snapshot that illustrates the current condition of the Cold Lake-Beaver River (CLBR) Basin. The reports contain inventory and assessment information related to surface and groundwater quantity, quality and aquatic resources of the basin. Also identified are the management tools that are currently available to address water issues in the basin. In addition to providing background information and a knowledge base for the CLBR plan, the reports update information in the 1985 planning documents.

Supplemental delineation such as Snowplowable Raised Pavement Markers (SRPM) may improve driver preview distances at night and in adverse weather conditions in high collision rate areas. A study of SRPM’s was undertaken to determine the effectiveness and durability of two types of markers.
