Description
The Activity Specific Recreation Organizations (ASRO) Operating Grant program provides annual funding to active recreation organizations operating with a provincial scope whose services and programming supports and develops participation in a given specific type of active recreation. These organizations attract new participants, provide opportunities to develop activity-related skills, and encourage province-wide communities by developing networks of Albertans sharing common interests. ASRO grants support the programming, administration, and financial sustainability of eligible organizations by assisting with operating expenses. This guideline document outlines eligibility criteria, application requirements, grant calculations and conditions, and reporting and recognition requirements.
