The pan-Canadian agricultural policy framework is a federal-provincial-territorial initiative that supports strategic programs that support the development of Alberta's and Canada's agriculture sector. This document summarizes the feedback received during a series of stakeholder roundtables and a public on-line survey that were held to garner public input into a new five-year pan-Canadian policy framework, expected to be in place by the spring 2022.

This annual version of the catalogue ceased publication in print and pdf format in July of 2022 and was continued by a web version which is updated throughout the year.

This document summarizes the feedback received during a series of stakeholder roundtables and a public on-line survey that were held to garner public input into a new five-year pan-Canadian policy framework, expected to be in place by the spring 2021.

In July 2017 federal, provincial and territorial ministers of agriculture, endorsed the Canadian Agricultural Partnership. Consultation and engagement sessions were held in winter 2018 to obtain feedback on what the suite of the Partnership-funded programs in Alberta should look like. Consultation during this period included three facilitated sessions in Edmonton, Lethbridge and Grande Prairie with representatives of industry organizations. As well, an online survey was made available to all agriculture stakeholders to get a more broad scope of opinions.
