The Employment Standards Tool Kit provides employers with comprehensive up-to-date information on minimum employment standards in Alberta. Employers can find detailed information and examples of how employment standards rules apply to them, their employees and their businesses. Module 8 discusses job-protected leaves that are available to employees, who is eligible, and what kind of notice is needed to take different leaves.
