Cette série de fiches d’information a été créée afin de faciliter la compréhension du nouveau curriculum M à 6 de l’Alberta en expliquant les six matières et les trois thèmes clés d’apprentissage qui s’appliquent à l’ensemble des matières et des niveaux scolaires. Les six matières sont les suivantes : English Language Arts and Literature, Mathématiques, Éducation physique et bienêtre, Français langue première et littérature, Français immersion et littérature et Sciences. Les trois thèmes clés d’apprentissage qui s’appliquent à tous les niveaux scolaires dans la version définitive du curriculum M à 6 sont les suivants : la littératie, la numératie et les habiletés pratiques. D’autres fiches d’information seront ajoutées une fois que la version définitive du nouveau curriculum M à 6 sera terminée. This series of fact sheets was created to support an understanding of Alberta's new K-6 curriculum by explaining the six subjects and three key learning themes that are applied across all subjects and grades. The six subjects are: English language arts and literature, mathematics, physical education and wellness, French first language and literature, French immersion language arts and literature and science. The three key learning themes that span all grades in the final K-6 curriculum are: literacy, numeracy and practical skills. More fact sheets will be added as the new K-6 curriculum is finalized. This statistic describes headcounts (unique learners) by institution and academic year within Alberta's publicly-funded post-secondary education system. Headcounts represent the number of students enrolled, and are unique to each level reported, therefore summing up multiple values to "combine" values may lead to double counting, as students can be counted in multiple rows. The data tables presented are related to enrolments in approved programs at publicly-funded post-secondary institutions within Alberta. Separate data files exist focusing on the system level, or for subsets that focus on either international or self-identified Indigenous learners.
