One-page summaries of Alberta Education Assurance Measures 2023 results for each public, separate and francophone school authority. Each summary includes the current year results, as well as results for the previous year, a three-year rolling average, and provincial summary results for comparison. The Alberta Education Assurance Measures provide school boards with a consistent way to measure their success and assess progress using a broad spectrum of measures. Reporting results allows Albertans to see how their school authority is performing and ensures that the entire education system is open and accountable.

Each summary includes the current year results, as well as results for the previous year, a three-year rolling average, and provincial summary results for comparison. The Alberta Education Assurance Measures provide school boards with a consistent way to measure their success and assess progress using a broad spectrum of measures. Reporting results allows Albertans to see how their school authority is performing and ensures that the entire education system is open and accountable. Participation in the Alberta Education Assurance survey, provincial achievement tests (PATs) and diploma examinations were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021.

Each jurisdiction report includes projected operational funding for the 2020/2021 school year. These are preliminary projections and each jurisdiction will have the opportunity to validate their individual student enrolment projections in order for the department to finalize the grant allocation for the 2020/2021 school year. Each jurisdiction will receive a commitment letter from the Minister in mid-April on the operational school year funding for 2020/2021.

Reports also includes student enrolment projections based on the 2019/20 September 30th enrolment, data on the financial health of the school jurisdiction, and projected funding support from other sources. Please note that the amount of funding paid to a jurisdiction will be based on actual student enrolment and courses taken by high school students during the school year, which may be higher or lower than the projection.
