In 2017, Alberta launched 22 pilot early learning and child care centres to support children and families in Alberta. On April 25, 2018, the Alberta government expanded the ELCC Centre pilot with the addition of 100 centres across Alberta. This document contains a breakdown of the number of ELCC Centres and child care spaces (new and existing).
