Ministerial Order from the Minister of Transportation to temporarily suspend parts of the Railway Regulation, Industrial Railway Regulation, and Heritage Railway Regulation. The changes: suspend the requirement to submit the results of periodic safety audits to obtain or renew approval to operate a railway under the Railway Regulation; suspend the requirement for employees of railway operators to be re-examined to demonstrate their knowledge on required subjects and their hands-on competency of actual job tasks under the Industrial Railway Regulation and Heritage Railway Regulation; and suspend the requirement for railway employees already occupying safety critical positions to undergo the periodic medical fitness for duty assessments required under the Industrial Railway Regulation or Heritage Railway Regulation.
