It contains a complete listing of vaccines and biologicals that are publicly-funded and indications for their use. PLEASE NOTE: These policies and documents are revised as new research and national recommendations become available. Please ensure you are always referencing the current version of the document. Requirements for reporting communicable diseases are mandated by the Communicable Diseases Regulation, under the Public Health Act. Alberta Health participates in the collection, analysis and interpretation of communicable disease data to assist the Chief Medical Officer of Health in fulfilling the duties prescribed in the Public Health Act.
