The Timber Forms Directive outlines the minimum reporting requirements and respective forms or records to be used for forest business, timber operations and the transportation or movement of timber volume as outlined in the Forests Act and the regulations under the Act.

Albertans may harvest trees on Crown land for personal use, and must obtain a Personal Use Forest Products Permit to do so. The Personal Use Forest Products Directive outlines the primary timber products and the associated quantities available for cutting and removal under the authorization of a Personal Use Forest Products Permit, along with additional permit issuance details. This Directive is authorized under section 67 of the Timber Management Regulation.
