In developing its recommendations, the Affordable Housing Review Panel considered input from Albertans, the supports required for Albertans in need of housing, market trends and projections, and approaches to housing in other provinces. The government will use this report as the cornerstone of its strategy and action plan to transform affordable housing in Alberta.

Each department of the Government of Alberta is required to have a publicly-accessible directory of personal information banks. A personal information bank is any resource which includes personal information. This list of personal information banks for Alberta Seniors and Housing lists: the name and location of the information bank; the type of personal information it contains; what categories of individuals the information pertains to; why the information was collected and how it is used or disclosed; and the legal authority for the collection of the information. A personal information bank does not provide direct access to an individual's records.

The Taking Action Against Elder Abuse Co-ordinated Community Response Grant Program supports the development or enhancement of co-ordinated community response models. Through a response model, community and government organizations work together to co-ordinate supports and services and increase their capacity to respond to elder abuse. Communities could access up to $150,000 over a three-year period. The final term of the grant will end December 31, 2018.
