(Al-Pac) in the 2015 Forest Management Plan (FMP), which was approved by the Alberta government on May 17, 2018. The stewardship report explains each of the 36 targets that Al-Pac has committed to in the FMP. It summarizes Al-Pac’s success at meeting its commitments on a target-by-target basis, and provides rationale for not meeting a specific target.

Timber dues and other fees associated with timber dispositions are collected by the province to ensure that Albertans receive fair compensation for the use of publicly-owned forest resources. The timber dues rates applied are based on current market and financial conditions are can be found in Table 3 of the Timber Dues Ministerial Order.
