Description

Gas safety information bulletins provide guidance and clarity to interested parties on matters relating to gas codes adopted under the Gas Code Regulation. STANDATA are developed and issued by Alberta Municipal Affairs to support the consistent application of codes and standards under the Safety Codes Act. STANDATA are issued as interpretations, variances or information bulletins that may apply province-wide or to specific sites for any thing, process or activity regulated by the Act.

The Hospitals Act includes a provision to recover from third-party liability insurers the Crown’s cost of health services provided to victims of automobile accidents. Under the Health Cost Recovery Program, automobile insurers remit an amount for each calendar year representing their proportionate share of the total estimated Crown cost of those health services. A new special notice is issued annually to include the new assessment factor for that year. It also includes all previous assessment factors. Please refer to the most recent version.

The Seniors Self-Contained program offers the subsidized rental housing to seniors with similar affordability concerns. Applicants to either program whose income falls below local income thresholds are eligible to apply. Updated annually, this document provides the local income limit for municipalities throughout Alberta.
