This handbook explains basic funding requirements for Early Childhood Services and how to complete application forms required for the services. It also outlines the age of eligibility for funding for all types of ECS programming. The handbook also explains funding that is provided for children identified with mild to moderate disabilities/delays and those who are gifted and talented. Appendices include a local special education needs policies and procedures checklist, identification of applicable sections and forms in the Funding Manual for School Authorities, and a sample form for family-oriented programming session plans.
