The objective of this four-year project (2024-2028) is to build a new French-language secondary school (Grade 7 to Grade 12) in Airdrie. In addition, the province will use this opportunity to enhance the vitality of the Francophone community by including a dedicated performance venue in the secondary school. This dedicated space within the secondary school premises will be able to accommodate various performing arts activities and serve as a multipurpose performance venue.

Les gouvernements de l’Alberta et du Canada ont signé un accord de modification de l’entente qui prolonge les conditions du Protocole d’entente relatif à l’enseignement dans la langue de la minorité et à l’enseignement de la langue seconde 2013-2018 et de l’Entente Canada-Alberta sur l’enseignement dans la langue de la minorité et à l’enseignement de la langue seconde 2013-2018 jusqu’en 2019-2020. Ceci représente la deuxième entente modificatrice d’un an à l’entente bilatérale et au protocole antérieurs.
