This manual is intended to serve as a resource to inform and educate those who sell medications at authorized medicine sales outlets in applications, proper storage and handling. Authorized medicine sales deals with the selling of over-the-counter medicines for production animals by non-veterinarians. The manual provides clear information concerning the roles and responsibilities of licence holders and offers useful and practical grounding in authorized medicine training for all authorized medicine business owners and their staff. Chapters include: production animal medicine and the law; disease and its causes; drug information basics; drug formulations; drug administration routes; drugs licenced for sale at authorized medicine sales outlets; drug interactions and adverse reactions; and responsibilities of outlet owners and their employees. It also contains a reference guide for units of measure, as well as a copy of the current regulation.
