Intended for public health professionals, this resource presents the recommended practices for the management and reporting of acute severe hepatitis of unknown origin in children. Topics covered include: a case definition of the disease and information on reporting requirements. The guidelines were developed by Alberta Health with input and advice from Medical Officers of Health, public health nurses, public health inspectors and medical infectious disease specialists.

Ce projet met l'accent sur deux initiatives : la collecte de données pour mieux comprendre, surveiller et faire la publication de l’état actuel de recrutement et de rétention d'enseignants en Alberta, ainsi que l'offre des cours supplémentaires en français aux futurs et actuels enseignants dans le domaine de l’enseignement de l’immersion française et du français langue seconde. Ce projet sera financé dans le cadre de l’Entente Canada-Alberta relative à l’enseignement dans la langue de la minorité et à l’enseignement de la langue seconde 2020-2021 à 2022-2023, qui inclut un engagement pour une amélioration continue de recrutement et rétention d’enseignants francophones et de français langue seconde.

Description

This project focuses on two initiatives: data collection to better understand, monitor and report on the state of teachers’ recruitment and retention in Alberta, and the provision of additional graduate and undergraduate courses in French to future teachers and to current teachers in the French immersion and French as a Second Language. The project is funded under the Canada–Alberta Agreement on Minority-Language Education and Second Official-Language Instruction 2020-21 to 2022-23, which includes a commitment to improving francophone and French-language teacher recruitment and retention.

The Community Housing program provides subsidized rental housing to low-income families, seniors, and individuals with special needs, as applicable, who cannot afford private sector accommodations. The Seniors Self-Contained program offers the subsidized rental housing to seniors with similar affordability concerns. Applicants to either program whose income falls below local income thresholds are eligible to apply. Updated annually, this document provides the local income limit for municipalities throughout Alberta.
