Description

Gas safety information bulletins provide guidance and clarity to interested parties on matters relating to gas codes adopted under the Gas Code Regulation. STANDATA are developed and issued by Alberta Municipal Affairs to support the consistent application of codes and standards under the Safety Codes Act. STANDATA are issued as interpretations, variances or information bulletins that may apply province-wide or to specific sites for any thing, process or activity regulated by the Act.

Both the bylaw and the agenda are an integral part of efficient council meetings and are important to the integrity of a municipality’s operation and meeting conduct. They also ensure a level playing field for anyone attending council or council committee meetings and consistent treatment of residents if any issues arise in a meeting that requires a standard procedure. The guide has been updated to reflect amendments to the Municipal Government Act which impact procedure bylaw and agenda matters.
