This report provides recommendations to government on how to better support housing for Albertans in need, balancing financial sustainability with growing demand. In developing its recommendations, the Affordable Housing Review Panel considered input from Albertans, the supports required for Albertans in need of housing, market trends and projections, and approaches to housing in other provinces. The government will use this report as the cornerstone of its strategy and action plan to transform affordable housing in Alberta.

The Seniors Lodge Program Advisory Committee was formed in January 2013 to review the Seniors Lodge Program and offer recommendations to support program renewal. This report contains the committee's 24 recommendations it feels are needed to clearly define the purpose of the program, ensure the program's long-term sustainability, and update the program's funding model to meet the needs of the communities and residents it serves.

The report considers the needs of seniors, persons with disabilities, and adults who receive continuing care services in their own homes, supportive living and long-term care facilities. It summarizes input received by the Task Force on Continuing Care Health Service and Accommodation Standards during consultations held between June and August 2005, and presents recommendations made by the Task Force in 12 broad areas related to continuing care services in the province.
