Supplier material safety data sheets at oil and gas lease sites

Description

Many products used at oil and gas lease sites may be hazardous to workers’ health and safety. Employers must have specific information available on-site for any of these products that are classified as “controlled products” under the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS). This two-page fact sheet gives a brief overview of WHMIS and Material Safety Data Sheets as they apply to oil and gas lease sites.
