Shallow soils assessment : Turner Valley Gas Plant

Description

Presents the results of an investigation to evaluate shallow soil quality with respect to identified contaminants of concern in the propose public access are of the Turner Valley gas plant historic site, and to assess the shallow soil quality with respect to mercury along a section of the future public tour path. The Turner Valley gas plant, western Canada’s first natural gas processing and refining facility and the site of Alberta’s first major oil and gas discovery, is a provincial historic resource and a national historic site.
