Description
This report presents the overall statistical profile for the province of Alberta. In the other profiles in the series, Alberta is broken down into its 87 provincial electoral divisions (PEDs). A PED is a territorial unit represented by an elected Member to serve in the Alberta Provincial Legislative Assembly. Data in this report have been specially tabulated from Statistics Canada’s 2011 Census of Canada and the 2011 National Household Survey, by allocation of Statistics Canada block face reference points to PEDs. These data include the following characteristics: age, sex, marital status, household types, language, Aboriginal identity, ethnic origin, place of birth, mobility, dwelling characteristics, education, labour force activity and income.
