Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped...
The Assured Income for Severely Handicapped (AISH) program provides financial and health benefits to eligible adult Albertans with a permanent disability that prevents them from earning a livelihood. Transparency is vital to ensuring Albertans generally, and AISH applicants specifically, have an understanding of AISH program statistics. Alberta Seniors, Community and Social Services has developed the monthly AISH Profile to include data by Family Composition, Primary Medical Condition, Client Average Age, Gender, Income Types, and Regions.
