Description
This report recommends regulatory changes related to the technical, environmental, safety, and monitoring requirements for the safe deployment of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) as well as other actions to increase the body of knowledge on CCS-related topics. The Regulatory Framework Assessment was initiated in March 2011 in response to Alberta's $1.3 billion investment in two commercial-scale CCS projects in the province.
