Alberta Property Rights Advocate Office annual report

Description

The Property Rights Advocate Office’s annual report contains the Advocate’s observations and recommendations about property rights in Alberta. The report represents what the office has heard from stakeholders about property rights issues and concerns. It raises awareness of recent issues and concerns and, it makes suggestions to Alberta’s legislators and government on how the issues and concerns can be addressed. Tabled directly with the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, the Property Rights Advocate Act requires the report to be reviewed by a committee of the Legislative Assembly and for the committee to report back to government within a specific time frame.
