Every year, CODS addresses the most pressing challenges facing the open data and open government communities. This year the themes were: Open Data and Analytics; Open Data Partnerships; and Crowdsourcing.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Service Alberta, the Honourable Stephanie McLean, and His Worship, Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson, provided opening remarks for the summit.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Diner, Chief Advisor of the Alberta Open Government Program, presented on <em>Proactive Disclosure: Extending beyond Open Data to Open Information<\/em>. Mark also participated in panels throughout the summit.
