Usage Considerations
The jurisdiction and charter school information sheets reflects information that school jurisdictions and charter schools are required to report to Alberta Education or that is collected from available data. They also show important financial information and accountability pillar reporting. They provide a snapshot of school jurisdictions at a given point in time and are updated regularly as new information becomes available. The information sheets can help parents find out more about the school jurisdiction or charter school in their community. It should be noted that the information sheets reflect information for the entire jurisdiction, not for individual schools. The information sheets provide a snapshot of how school jurisdictions are performing. At a local level, school boards may use different information as their circumstances change within or across school years. To ensure consistency, Alberta Education only reports data once it is available for every school board and charter school.
