Human health and ecological risk assessment for the Turner Valley Gas Plant

Description

A site protection and remediation project for the The Turner Valley gas plant was completed in the Spring of 2007. This report presents the results of a study of the human health and ecological risk assessment for the Sheep River floodplain beyond the containment wall at the site. The Turner Valley gas plant, western Canada’s first natural gas processing and refining facility and the site of Alberta’s first major oil and gas discovery, is a provincial historic resource and a national historic site.
